Welcome to my online abode
Hello Visitor! Thanks for visiting my online space. My name is Rohit Athavale. I'm currently a software engineer at AMD/Xilinx.
I enjoy writing software to interface with hardware, embedded boards that date back to 68K micro-controllers to newer Raspberry Pi3. I also enjoy writing code that executes in the interrupt and exception handlers.
More recently I've enjoyed dabbling with video, image processing, codecs & firmware.
I live in South San Jose and enjoy cooking and napping on the weekends. Also I do a fair bit of procrastinating about hitting the gym. I like visiting local farmer markets.
